Austin is a magical place any time of year, but during the holidays, it’s extra special. There are plenty of things to do with the family, but I thought listing a top 3 would be a great blog for this month!

Four Seasons Gingerbread Village:

As soon as you walk into the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel, you will be greeted by a gorgeous Gingerbread Village which the whole family will enjoy. There is plenty to see with miniature buildings from Austin and all over the world. It took the pastry chef and her team almost 100 hours to complete, and you can tell the amount of work that was poured into this display.

It’s available for viewing 24 hours a day from November 25 through December 25. It’s also a free activity open to both locals and guests.

Mozart Coffee Light Show:

This is a family favorite every year with hot cocoa, music, and lights galore right overlooking Lake Austin. This local coffee shop has been displaying gorgeous Christmas lights for years, and somehow, it keeps getting better every year. This year is no exception!

The show is free and runs daily from 6-11 pm through January 5th.

Nutcracker:

The Nutcracker and holidays go hand in hand, and Ballet Austin does a magnificent show at the Long Center.

There are group tickets, Petite pre-show, and VIP tickets available, with service available for the visually impaired.

This show will certainly get the entire family into the mood for the holidays!

The show runs through December 23rd at 2 pm.
