Spring is here—and in Austin, that means we’re in the heart of our prime real estate season. From Tarrytown to Travis Heights, the city is buzzing with activity. Listings are going live, buyers are walking through doors, and despite some national noise around interest rates and the stock market, Austin’s real estate market continues to show resilience.

Yes, we’re all feeling the ripple effects of higher interest rates and the headlines about market volatility. The stock market has been up, down, and somewhere in between. But here’s the truth: Austin real estate remains a strong and steady investment. This is still a growing city, with demand driven by tech, education, lifestyle, and culture. People want to live here and they’re still moving here in large numbers.

If you’re a buyer, know this: competition is more manageable right now, and there are opportunities to purchase well-positioned homes in sought-after neighborhoods before summer. And if you’re a seller, this is still one of the best times of year to list—especially if your home is move-in ready and thoughtfully priced.
